Carol A. Shoemaker Foughty 60 of Rushsylvania, passed away Saturday January 13, 2018 at Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. She was born June 14, 1957 in Bellefontaine, Ohio, the daughter of Claude & Hester Shoemaker. She was a graduated from Benjamin Logan H.S., class of 1975 and also a graduate from Lima Tech / Rhodes State with an Associates Degree of Accounting.  She attended Goshen Friends Church in Zanesfield, Ohio and was employed by lumenomics, for 10 years, formerly Inside Outfitters.  Carol enjoyed her Church, Scrap Booking, Antiques, Crafting & Minions.  She enjoyed Volunteering for Pan-Ohio Hope Ride, with the American Cancer Society.  She was known for her Lasagna and Carrot Cake and it was enjoyed by many.  Survivors include her husband David L. Foughty whom she married July 7, 2006; son Pat (Betsy) Price, brother Robert (Darla) Shoemaker; step sons Jeremiah (Laurie) Foughty John (Laura) Foughty, Jonah Foughty and Timothy Foughty; former daughter-in-law Tonya (James) Anderson; grandchildren Bryant Newman, Emma Newman, Hunter Lee, Dakota Price, Skyler Price, Haley Anderson, Hannah Anderson, Mylez Anderson and Amalia Foughty; great grandchildren Lincoln Newman and Eleanor Newman.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and by her first husband James Craft.  Pastor Wayne Downing will officiate a memorial service 12:00 noon Friday January 19, 2018 at the Goshen Friends Church 5527 County Rd 153 Zanesfield, Ohio 43360. Visitation will be 10:00 am until time of service.
