Betty M. (Allen) Hunt, 96 of Bellefontaine passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Campbell Place Assisted Living Community. Betty was born on March 3, 1926 in Zanesfield, OH to the late David Lee Roy and Anna Mary (Johnson) Allen. Betty worked at DAB for 39 years as an inspector.

She also worked at High Point Storage for 21 years and volunteered at multiple places in Bellefontaine: Mary Rutan Hospital and American Red Cross just to name a few. She attended the Frist United Presbyterian Church in Bellefontaine her entire life.

She is survived by her children, Carolyn (Hunt) and Dale Humphreys of Covington, OH, Richard and Denise (Smith) Hunt of Bellefontaine, OH; One grandson, Jason and Michele (Froning) Humphreys of Hilliard, OH; Three great grandsons, Robert Humphreys of Fairlawn, OH, Jacob Humphreys of Cleveland, OH, and Matthew Humphreys of Cleveland, OH. Siblings, Jean, Fred, and Gary. Also, many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents David Lee Roy and Anna Mary (Johnson) Allen; siblings, Merle Allen, Sam Allen, Liz (Allen) LeVan, and Chick Allen.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 1:00 PM Saturday October 1, 2022 at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home and Crematory 5591 US Route 68 S. West Liberty, Ohio 43357.  Visitation will be from 11:00 am until time of service.
