Bessie L. Butler 99, of Bellefontaine, passed away Thursday, August 26,   2021 in her home surrounded by her family.  She was born February 14, 1922 in Morehead, Kentucky the daughter of Vinton & Etta (Stegall) Cooper.  Survivors include her sons Carlos Butler, Gary (Phyllis) Butler, Roger (Rose) Butler, Jack (Susan) Butler, Jeff Butler; siblings Vernon Cooper, Larry Cooper, Kay Burton; nine grandchildren, several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband Elgan, her twin brother Ervin, also her brother Virgil; sister Cora Artis; grandchild Aaron Butler.  Pastor Mike Phillips will officiate a funeral service 12:00 PM Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home 5591 US Route 68 S West Liberty, Ohio 43357.
