Barbara Jo Dixon, 68 of Huntsville passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022 at St. Rita's Medical Center.

Barb was born August 16, 1954 in Bellefontaine to the late Donald and Margaret (Scullin) Kauffman. On December 21, 1989 in Bellefontaine she married the love of her life Al Dixon, who survives.

Barb loved gardening, hiking, camping and the great outdoors in general. She also loved to craft and sew. Most important to Barb though was her loving family. She enjoyed spending as much time as possible with her loved ones. Barb was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Al Dixon; children, Krista (Mark) Jackson and Shane (Zuzana) Lewis; grandchildren, Tanisha Lewis, Desmond Jackson and Julian Jackson; siblings, Allan (Eileen) Kauffman, Roxanne Fisher and John Kauffman; several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Jeff Kauffman and Francine Kauffman.

A Graveside service will take place Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Fairview Cemetery of West Liberty at 10:30 a.m.
