Lois H. Huber, 84, of West Liberty passed away Friday Oct 5, 2012. She was born December 27, 1927 in Bellefontaine, the daughter of Nelson and Mary (Horn) Hudson. Mrs. Huber graduated from Bellefontaine High School where she was proud to be the first female in the school's marching band. She attended Miami University and graduated from Urbana College in 1974. She taught at the Indian Lake School System and retired with 19 years service. She was a member of First Lutheran Church. Mrs. Huber was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harley Huber; her son, Douglas Huber. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Kathleen Huber; daughter-in-law, Jane Huber; grandson, Nick; granddaughter, Abbie; two sisters, Charlotte Belser and Lura Downing; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Highland Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Jonathan Bull officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Universal Home Health & Hospice, 701 South Main Street, Bellefontaine, OH 43311. The family is being served by Jennings Farley Funeral Home.
